our crowdfunding IS NOW LIVE.

The first chapter of the REAP story is written – we’ve already developed some of the fastest bikes in the world. Now it’s time for you to write REAP’s future with us. We’re crowdfunding through Crowdcube, giving you the unique opportunity of investing in REAP to commercialise our development work and develop even more of the best bikes in the world, along with our new Performance Partner, Sir Jason Kenny.

OUR PUBLIC CROWDCUBE PAGE IS NOW LIVE

We are very excited to invite you to join the REAP Collective, and be instrumental in the future of the REAP brand. We’ve made strides in the world of bicycle development since our inception in 2014, and now is the time to push for the future. Opportunities like this don’t come around everyday.

Our Crowdcube crowdfunding page is now live, providing the unique opportunity to invest in the fastest developing bike brand in the world via the link below.

THREE OF THE FASTEST BIKES IN THE WORLD?
THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.

OUR STORY SO FAR...

We started the REAP journey in 2014 with the dream of being able to make carbon fibre bikes in the UK. We smashed through that goal and developed some of the fastest bikes in the world. Our first ever bike, the Generation 1.0, achieved critical acclaim as ‘Best on Test’ and the highest rated bike ever in 220 Triathlon magazine’s history, at 95%.

We then developed our Vekta road bike, ridden by Georgia Taylor-Brown to win her first ITU World Championship in Hamburg in 2020, and commenced development on our track project – the Raptor. The Raptor is tested as being the joint-fastest track bike in the world with a bike that has broken and holds multiple records on the boards.

A massive achievement for any bike brand you might say? We think it’s a good start.

Manufacturing everything in the UK means that unlike many other bike brands, we’re not subject to problems that arise on the other side of the world that may affect our supply chain, as well as giving us complete control over every step of our process, leading to more efficient and effective product development and manufacturing.

REAP THE FUTURE

Although we can’t predict the future, we do know that it’s looking bright for British bicycle manufacturing. We’re the only company in the UK making carbon fibre road bikes, and we know from the not-so-wide world of composites that there are a number of bike brands looking to do the same. The best part? We’ve done all the hard work already and have got a head start on everyone.

All of the learning we’ve done since we started this journey has lead to this moment. At REAP we believe that our current offering of three of the fastest bikes in the world is just the beginning of what we can achieve. This unique opportunity is here now for you to invest and join the REAP Collective. With our proven technology we can make REAP the definitive, fastest bike brand in the world.

With a letter of intent for the purchase of 100 Special Edition REAP Vulcans from one of the world’s most well-renowned precision cycle-parts manufacturers, 2022 already looks extremely promising from both a revenue perspective and brand exposure. Thereafter, REAP are projected to see a progressing EBITDA to £3.3m by 2026, capitalising on the $95bn global cycling market. Exit multiples for the cycling industry are estimated at 13x, giving investors at this stage the potential to see impressive ROIs down the line.

The first development step for REAP after the campaign is to release disc-brake versions of our current bikes, and perform a full launch of the brand to the cycling and triathlon markets. The next step is to assemble a fleet of demo-bikes ready for customers and media outlets to test, and continue the development work on producing the absolute fastest bikes in the world.

DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT

The most successful cyclist in the history of the Olympics wouldn’t put his name to something unless he thought it was the best, that’s for sure. An athlete with such an eye for detail and drive for ultimate performance.

Sir Jason Kenny has joined the REAP Team as our new Performance Partner and pledged his investment into REAP’s future. Who wouldn’t want to be on Jason Kenny’s team?

SO... HOW DOES IT WORK?

Crowdcube is Europe’s biggest online equity crowdfunding platform and allows you the opportunity to invest in some of the most exciting and fast growing businesses in Europe with total confidence. Unlike a lot of crowdfunding platforms where all you get is a T-Shirt and a ‘Thank You’ note, with investing through Crowdcube you actually own a share of REAP Bikes, as well as helping us to become the fastest bike brand in the world and put British engineering back on the map.

To show our thanks, we’re offering investors some amazing rewards, including our aero-road Vekta frameset and exclusive REAP Collective cycling kit. (A full list of rewards is available below) We will also be doing a prize draw of some special rewards to all shareholders after the campaign is over, which includes REAP kit and VIP track experiences with reigning Olympic Champion, Jason Kenny. No matter how big or small your investment, you could be in with a chance of winning a very special thank you!

Investments of this nature carry risks to your capital. Please Invest Aware.

Why are REAP crowdfunding?

Anything worth doing is better with people around you. We want to give you the opportunity to help shape the fastest bike brand in the world and share in the successes. The money raised also allows us the chance to push our ideas even further and make more awesome products for the cycling world - like the world's first carbon fibre Flight Case.

What is equity crowdfunding?

When you invest in equity, you buy a percentage or share of a business in the hope that the value of that company will increase over time. Hopefully, the business you have backed goes on to make an ‘exit’ at a higher value than when you invested, and you will get a return on your investment and make a profit. Just remember that investing of any nature carries significant risks, including illiquidity, lack of dividends, loss of your investment and dilution. You can read more about this on the Crowdcube website.

Who are Crowdcube?

Crowdcube is the largest crowdfunding platform in Europe which enables businesses to attract investment from professionals and venture capital firms, as well as from everyday investors. They have managed crowdfunding raises for companies such as SunGod, Huub and many more. Learn more about Crowdcube here.

What is the benefit of pre-registering?

Everyone who pre-registers their interest will be among the first to access the private Crowdcube investment page. Once we've reached our investment target, we can stop the campaign at any time so it pays to be in first.

When will the campaign go live?

By pre-registering you get access to the private page on 16th May 2022 at 09.00 AM, and then the page will go public on 23rd May 2022 for anyone to invest.

Who can invest?

You must be over 18 years old and legally entitled to invest. You’ll also need to be a resident of the UK or a country where you may legally receive financial promotions of the nature provided. You will need to be a Crowdcube member to invest – sign up on their platform here.

How can I invest?

To invest in the REAP Bikes 2022 crowdfund, you must sign up to Crowdcube on their platform. Once you’ve signed up and the REAP crowdfunding round has officially opened (remember, everyone who pre-registers their interest via this page will get priority access), you’ll be able to invest via the Crowdcube platform. Your money will not be taken until the round has officially closed and the cooling-off period has ended.

How much can I invest?

The minimum investment amount is currently £10.39, and any investment caps will be displayed on the REAP campaign page.

Can I sell or transfer my shares?

REAP is a private company, which means it doesn’t trade on a stock exchange. This means you can only sell REAP shares when a ‘liquidity event’ occurs. A liquidity event occurs when the company is sold or chooses to list on a stock exchange. To make a return, REAP would need to enter a ‘liquidity event’ where its shares are valued at a higher value than when you invested, making you a return on your investment. Please be aware, investments of this nature carry risks to your capital.

Is the campaign EIS approved?

Yes, this campaign is EIS approved. You could be able to claim back 30% of the value of your investment in income tax relief. Please seek the advice of a professional .
