REAP Take Rouleur Live 2025
Nov 24, 2025
Our favourite time of the year; Rouleur Live.
The cycling world descends on Shoreditch, London to stand in awe of what lies ahead for the 2026 season.
While the majority of brands resort to the safe place of taking existing products and dressing them in fancy paint jobs and build specs, we like to employ a different tactic. It started last year when the gravel world exploded with the need for 50mm tyres. Brands were stuck in there 2 year product cycles so couldn't keep up, and so we stepped in to give the people what they want!
It was for the 2024 show that we created the Type 300 prototype; a challenge we managed in just 52 days from sketch to rideable bike.
This year, we had to step it up. Not only did we bring another prototype to the show, we brought perhaps the most outrageous gravel bike build ever seen. Working with a team of fantastic British brands, to deliver on Dan's brief of a British gravel racing machine, we created an awesome amalgamation of aero excellence and gravel grit
Dan Bigham is a former Hour Record Holder, won a silver medal medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics and is known for being the pioneer of the aero movement over the past decade. He retired from professional racing last year and needed a machine to take on a new challenge.
Dan has his sights set on a number of gravel FKTs ('fastest known times' are a set unofficial records kept and observed by the community) for 2026, namely the Rebellion Way - a 372km course with just 2000m of elevation.
For such a challenge, Dan required a bike not just built for gravel performance but for absolute off-road speed. Owning his own components company in Wattshop meant he had a catalogue of aero goodies to draw on, but required the chassis. Being the only truly aero gravel frameset on the market, the Type 300 was the perfect option for this build.
It must have caught a more than a thousand odd expressions with its polarising silhouette over the weekend, but it made quite the impression on many; including winning the best carbon bike from CADE Media. We will be posting a full breakdown of the build in the coming weeks.
As if that wasn't enough; we decided to continue this tradition of showing the world our prototypes while others keep them hidden.
And it's for another new bike. A road bike this time, that builds on the platform of the Vekta, but targets a lighter weight chassis while maintaining aero and power transfer performance.
Dressed in an 'all white everything' livery, the new Code was an absolute stunner in the Truman Brewery and has since had quite a lap of honour around social media.
With the Type 300 last year we sped through the prototype build process to demonstrate the power of manufacturing in your own factory in the UK, but this year we're taking our time a little more to ensure we can bring you along for the ride.
We'll be releasing a detailed development diary over the coming weeks to show you the lengths we go to to ensure our bikes leave no stone unturned.
